Activities aim to “Green” environment.

For encouraging and propagandizing people’s awareness about environmental issues, a number of activities will be held in areas across the whole country.

In April and May, the eco-protection program “Go Bike” is taking place in seven major parks of the three cities Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and Hai Phong. Different groups will clean up several parks, as well as riding bicycles around Parkson stores with the aim to increase awareness of climate change, urban waste problem and developing a general concern about the environment.

This eco-protection program will be organized by Parkson Vietnam through a series of different activities under the theme of protecting the environment and encouraging people to make a step towards a healthy green community.
The highlight of this program will certainly be the “Go Bike” program in Ho Chi Minh City on 7^th May with nearly 400 participants. On this occasion, Parkson Vietnam also donates new items with a value of VND 210 millions to the parks to help them staying tidy and clean.

To inspire people for a “green” lifestyle, the contest "green fashion" was launched with the goal of supporting interested participants to create eco-friendly collections using green materials and ideas.
During these two months, all the seven stores of Parkson will dim the lights and neon signs in- and outside of the buildings for an ecological and energy-saving purpose. In addition, the shopping center also increases the use of eco-bags in serving customers.
