Royal Selangor is one of the oldest and most well-known names in the pewter industry.  Founded in Malaysia in 1885 by Yong Koon, Royal Selangor has an impressive workforce of more than 500 skilled craftsmen. Operating in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, the Royal Selangor pewter factory is the world’s largest pewter factory.

    Presently, the company offers over a thousand different tableware and gift items, from traditional tankards and elegant tea sets, to captivating photoframes and handsome desk accessories. Internationally acclaimed for its commitment to innovative designs and fine craftsmanship, Royal Selangor has received many awards such as the 1997 Gift of the Year Award and the 2002 Red Dot Award for Product Design from Germany’s Design Zentrum.
